was established in April 2009 as a venue for different artists to express themselves through the art of spinning poi. What started out as a barkada of poi-lovers from Cagayan de Oro, later became a local talent pool of fire spinners. They debuted on an official gig and first-ever choreographed fire performance at the Tatak Environmentalist event (August 16, 2009). There, they experienced a nice welcome by the Cagayan de Oro audience.
Within 2 years after that performance, they started to get more invitations to perform everywhere (Cagayan de Oro and other cities in the Philippines) as they proudly carried the name "PoiCDO Fire Spinners". 2010 was a busy PoiCDO year while 2011 was more experimenting of the group with other forms of art in their performances.
3 years after being established, they realize they did not only gain a number of invites through the years but also gained friendships with people who spun fire, poi, juggled, and appreciated this craft from everywhere. PoiCDO then decided to re-establish their vision for the group...
