We turned three! PoiCDO is now 3-years old! After the hardships, trials, regrouping, restructure and expansion of the original fire dance group of Cagayan de Oro, we have finally reached the age of a toddler and the maturity of a young adult. It was absolutely a reason to celebrate!
Originally the plan was to celebrate the 3rd year celebration on the date itself, which was April 20, 2012, but we had a few things going with our individual daily lives that we had opted to have a party a week later the planned date.
There were 2 things in our minds for the celebration:
(1) BETTER LATE THAN NEVER;
and (2) NEVER PASS UP AN OPPORTUNITY TO DRESS UP FOR A PARTY.
And everybody took that seriously!
We had agreed to the crazy idea that we would all dress up as famous singers! Everybody was so "game" to the idea that we even added the challenge that each person would perform as his/her character for not less than a minute.
Days went by and everybody was determining who to be in the party. We got excited as well as we scooped a sponsor of prizes for the best characters for the night. Some even had more than one idea of the singer they would be... and then, the night of the party arrived.
Before I show how the people looked like in that evening, I would like to share these photos of the members before that celebration to prove that these people are not mentally challenged or have been patients in any mental institution... or as far as we know.

All in all, it was a very fun night and we thank our dear friends and family who always believed and still believe in the group. I want to welcome our newest members, recruits and students who do their share in the growth of PoiCDO. And in behalf of PoiCDO, I would like to thank all the people who inspire us to do what we love to do. You know who you are and we would like to give back our love and respect by sharing this video of our silliness as a sacrifice for your honor. XD
